Cheap Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black)

Kids won't mind using this toy but expecting quality video from this is asking for too much. Perhaps I have a defective unit but:

1. Recorded video is extremely grainy in anything except outdoors in bright sunlight - even though the video in the view finder while recording appears to be normal.
2. With no image stablization in the camera you have to be perfectly still or the video jumps around - a lot. Even panning using it with a tripod results in a jittery video. These may be artifacts of the next issue
3. Even when holding the camera perfectly still (no panning, zooming, nothing), moving objects in the video jump around (i.e. skip) which indicates that the frame rate is erratic and not a constant 30fps (looks more like 10fps and with jitters at that)

After taking about 1 hour of videos with this camera I have about 5 minutes that are watchable solely due to the quality of the video that was recorded. The concept is great and ease-of-use cannot be easier but the bottom line for me is 'watchable videos' of which this product does not deliver.Get more detail about Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black).
