I bought this camera because of its simplicity and portability. But what's the point of a device being so portable if you need to keep it on a tripod to get a steady shot?
I opened it up and made a couple of quick test shots. One sitting down, barely moving at all and the other walking around my apartment. Both videos were shaky to the point of distraction.
The picture quality is good so long as you remain absolutely motionless. But without some sort of image stabilization picture quality is irrelevant.
I returned it. Get more detail about Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black).
