This is an excellent product for what it is made for. Do not expect a fancy video camera that will work in different lighting situations, you will be very disappointed. There are no fancy buttons to control recording, it is basic and made to be that way, quick and handy in the perfect conditions. You can download the files to a computer, the camera connects as a USB. It is limited to one or two hours of recording. You have to have access to your computer to download regularly if you want to make more videos, over 2 hours. I understand the case sold for it separately is not worth getting. The one it comes with is good and sufficient.
