Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black)

Hi All ,

Honestly, you really need to think twice before buying the Flip UltraHD.
The first thing you need to do when you buy this thing "through the batteries away" and use the alkaline AA batteries [ normal ones or rechargeable ], Pure Digital has failed to make good batteries ..

I have questions with no answer !!!

1 - " the battery is too hot charging is paused " this is my daily normal message when i try to charge the flip Ultra HD

2- "how much time left on flip ultra hd battery" u will never know, there is no indicator which shows u if the batteries are fully or half charge . so take extra AA batteries with you .

3- "flip ultra hd charging paused" !! because the batteries are hot [ but when u take the batteries out you don't feel it at all !!!

4- "why does the flip ultra hd some times says check battery pack?" [ sound like there is no battaries inside ]

how we could solve this ?

1- charge your Flip video in a cool temperature room ( I would prefer if its cold )[otherwise the charging will be stopped due to hot batteries ]
2- leave the cover to the camcorder off while charging !!!!!!
3- the tool support has advised that when ever I see the message "It's really hot -- charging stopped to cool down" if your camcorder is starting to overheat due to hot weather while recharging. When you see this message, recharging is stopped to help the camcorder and battery pack cool down. To cool them more quickly, disconnect the camcorder from your computer, remove the battery pack, and allow them to rest and cool down for at least 10 to 15 minutes. To start charging again,reinsert the battery pack and reconnect to the computer. [ I've done that several time and the problem still remains ] maybe i should wait for winter to charge it with no problems !!!!

* the ultra HD design is very beautiful and it looks elegant much more that the Creative Vado HD
* The audio quality is great and sensitive .
* Its the best pocket HD camcorder in low light condition .
* the support team are very helpful and they reply your answers very fast ....
* accept AA Alkaline batteries

Cons
* no wide angel
* no image stabilization
* no HDMI cable included
* the batteries are very sensitive and it's not easy to charge it via USB successfully all the time .
