I did the research like most people. i wanted a small HD quality video camera that was easy to use. This Flip HD camera is incredible. As one person wrote, simplicity at its best. Very true. Think of this camera as a point and click. There are no cool effects (I didn't want them), just point and record. Setup was a breeze, software installed easily. Low light is not as crisp as daylight, but I bought this camera for the outside, the beach, etc. The quality of the picture is amazing. No tapes, hold 2 hours of HD video, charges from your USB port. Uploading was very quick. Zoom was fine, but was only about 2x, nothing spectacular. Great camera to carry around, capture in a moment's notice, superb quality, easy and simple.
