The HD videos this camcorder makes are crystal clear even in low light and has great sound. The software program it downloads onto your computer is great, it allows you to do anything with the video like make a movie with imported music added to the sound track, email the video and do editing, lots of very nice options, better than most. The unit looks and feels solid and well built, great construction. The controls are easy to use and well laid out. No need for an SD card as you can record two hours of stunning HD video with the on board memory. It uses 2 AA batteries so you can use rechargeable AA batteries. The AA batteries it comes with are coupled together and can only be charged while the unit is connected to your computer via the USB connection that's why I prefer rechargeable AA's and a external charger. Basically it has no zoom but these types of camcorders usually have useless digital zooms, so its no big deal to me. I am really happy with mine and the video it takes rivals a camcorder costing much much more than this. If zooming isn't your driving factor, this is the camcorder for you.
