I bought the Flip HD for the main purpose of recording a trip that I was taking to Alaska with my six grandchildren, ages 15 - 20. I chose it because of the reviews saying how easy it is to use and how excellent the quality of the picture is. I found all of this to be accurate. The camera fit in my pocket and I even carried it on my wrist while zip-lining!!! I was able to record during the day and by simply attaching it to my laptop in the evening we were all able to view the events of the day. Of course the video may be viewed immediately from the camera itself. Everyone I have showed it to has been amazed by the quality of the picture.
